Lesley Dowding and Margaret Scott have combined their considerable talents to bring you an exciting new book:
Midnight at the Lighthouse
Thomas' desire to see and paint the illuminated lighthouse and Aunt Jenny's promise to take him, lays the foundation for an exciting night time adventure.
Lesley Dowding's story and Margret Scott's illustrations vividly portray the wild atmosphere of the coastal sea and sky.
The authors are highly skilled teachers, whose passion is to develop children's visual and oral imagination.
Consequently each illustration uses different graphic techniques.
In the tradition of story telling the language is that of the story told, not read.
The reader will be enriched by the blending of the two traditions, the story and picture.
